Analysis duration

Results of the cytological analyses are usually available on the day of sample reception by Vetscope Pathologie
Histopathology results are usually available 1-2 days after sample reception by Vetscope Pathologie. For large, poorly fixed samples the analysis may take up to 1 week, for bones and teeth 1-2 weeks
Supplementary immunohistochemical analyses and the evaluation of prognostic markers usually take 1 week
For supplementary microbiological analyses, Vetscope Pathologie works together with inhouse and external partner laboratories. These analyses may take 2-3 weeks
Urgent cases are analysed with priority and as fast as possible. Please indicate urgency on the analysis request form

The results of your requested analyses are summarized in a well-arranged report
Vetscope Pathologie favours sending an electronic report by email, in order to reduce paper waste
Reports are available in German (Standard), English and French. Please indicate your wish for a report in English or French in the analysis request form as a comment
